Right in the City, a Dog's Tale

RiteCity

These "Tales" are autobiographical anecdotes that actually happened to Doug Ayres during his 50 year career in local government mangement and consulting. The 372 pages of stories are hilarious, instructive, inspirational and true. As Ayres states: "For 50 years I suffered the slings and arrows of the flaming egos of Councilmen I served. Telling it as it is and was is now my retribution." Only a few names have been changed to protect the guilty. There are also plenty of heroes encountered during this telling of a 50 year saga of community building and administrative achievement.

This book is a must for Urban Adminsitrators and Elected Officials, and those who are in or aspire to enter local government in any capacity!
